Now I don't have to worry about small kids struggling to climb up into the high vehicle. The textured pads provide extra grip. The sleek yet rugged appearance maintains the Jeep aesthetic perfectly. However, installing them required some fiddling to get the brackets just right. It took me a little longer than the estimated hour. When they finally arrived, I was pleased with the build quality, material feels durable. Instructions was easy to follow. No sweat assembly. Now getting in and out of the Jeep is much easier. I used the box they came in as a shop aid to lift them to almost where the affix to the Jeep.
I put one small silver bolt thru the front, of the 6 holes, tightened it loosely, did the same for the aft bolt. Then secured the other four bolts before putting the larger black bolts in. Do nottighten these at this time.
Center the rails and then tighten the black bolts follow by tightening the silver bolts. I really tightened the black bolts, more than the silver ones because they are thicker and can endure it.Was this review helpful? -
